Lynn First became aware of seeing this genius at Todd Rundgren's The Individualist Tour 2019 Hooked!

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Oh, finally... finally, some prog that's really progressive! Most of the time, I tend to yawn at everything in my feed that's tagged "progressive rock", because it's not progressive at all, in the pure sense of the word. This album was tagged "alternative rock" too, and this combination looked interesting. Actually, this music is so far away from old-school prog, neo-prog, and prog metal, and much closer to classical avantgarde and synthwave, that I guess it should be tagged "post-progressive". Favorite track: Daughter of the Ocean.

tommop It's Progressive music which breaks the stereotypes of the genre. Refreshing, uplifting and totally brilliant. Favorite track: People (feat. Todd Rundgren).

Slow things down
 Before you lose your mind
Slow things down
Listen to your body while you can

Slow things down
 What’re you trying to prove?
Slow things down
Before you end up hurting those you love

 Slow things down
 Before you kill yourself

We are the same We are the same you just don’t know We feel the same We feel the same you just don’t know Don’t know This Malady Has been crushing our dreams for way too long Consuming us And the very air we breathe I’ve had enough We bleed the same We bleed the same you just don’t know We hide our shame We hide our shame you just don’t get it Don’t get it This Malady Has been crushing our dreams for way too long Consuming us And the very air we breathe I’ve had enough Jealousy You’ve been wasting all the time we never had But we won’t give up Yes we’re gonna find a way to gain control

People always after something they don’t have Once they get that something they don’t want it anymore Yes I know I’m guilty of this too But I’m human so I’ll still judge you People always chasing something they don’t need Once they find it they don’t even feel fulfilled Yes I know the change begins within Distraction and repression, I’m a dreamer too Why can’t we just be living in the here and now What does it take to live in the here and now People always after something they don’t have Following the carrot on a stick Once they get it they don’t want it anymore Yes I know I’m guilty of this too But I’m human so I’ll still judge you Why can’t we just be living in the here and now What does it take to live in the here and now

You should understand
We’ve been together so long
 Fighting for our chance
We couldn’t tell right from wrong
So tell me how we go on from here

 Sorry for the horrors
For all the things we’ve done
 Men obsessed with power
Who couldn’t see past their own frail bodies
Sold you for nothing but an illusion

 Creature of the ocean
I know you think I’ve lost it all
Facing your extinction
You realize I’ve been here before
It’s time to fade away, fade away
Long after the end of your journey I’ll still be around
 Time
It’s time to fade away
 Regeneration

 On this barren wasteland
Can’t recognize myself
We deserve a second chance
Why should we pay for what our fathers did
So please tell me why you need to end it here

 Daughter of the ocean
I know you think you’ve seen it all
My regeneration Depends on your downfall It’s time to fade away, fade away
Long after the last of your kind I will still be around
 Time
It’s time to fade away
Regeneration

I’ll never change your mind
I’ll never change your mind so
Is this a waste of time
I’ll never change your mind

We’ve been going around in circles
No one’s getting off this battered ferris wheel
I wanna see you as a person
But you’re just a number on my broken screen

If you could look them in the eyes
If you could look them in the eyes Would you still watch ‘em burn
Still watch them burn

We’ve been going around in circles
Like a pebble stuck inside the tire groove
 I wanna see your evolution
But you’re still a blossom growing on a rotten tree

 The undercurrent’s strong
 The undercurrent’s so strong
It puts a strain on me but
It put a chain on you

So many see you as the devil
But you’re just a symptom of our broken society

 I’ll never change your mind
I’ll never change your kind We’re so deeply intertwined
I’ll never change your mind

So we’ll keep going round and round in circles
Always ending up back where we started
So many see you as the devil
But you’re just a symptom of our broken society
 Our defective humanity
